The soil oxygen sensor is a small device that looks like a microphone. When properly installed., the sensor measures soil oxygen levels, the soil oxygen sensor plugs into your EarthScout. A metal mesh head of the soil oxygen sensor should be buried head down in the soil at the same depth as the active root zone.

Remember, these are scientific instruments. Handle them with care so your product warranty won’t become void. For purchase or installation information, contact EarthScout. Once the soil oxygen sensor is installed in the soil, go to the EarthScout app home screen and tap the soil oxygen sensor.

In our demo, the soil oxygen is currently reading 19%. Tap the chart to view data for a specific day over the last week. You can also view data over the last 30 days or the last 90 days by entering a custom date.

Tap the first date in the range. Then the second date. And then tap done to see the data for that time period. Note, on the mobile app, the furthest back you can review historic data is 90 days. To view longer time frames log into the web app from a desktop computer.
