Then, insert your EarthScout TDR soil moisture sensor through the bottom for deep readings up to 32″, or drill two side-by-side holes and insert the sensor from the side for precise readings up to 25″. The soil auger works in all soil types, including clay, and can also dig large holes for installing the EarthScout burial tube.

    BUILT TO LAST: Our steel auger drill bit features a red paint that prevents rust and makes it easy to find.

    DRILL RECOMMENDATIONS: Compatible with any 3/8″ chucked drill. We recommend using an 18V or higher drill with an auxiliary handle to hold the drill with both hands for added user control and safety. For cordless drills a 14V drill minimum is recommended.

    STORAGE: Please keep the auger clean from moisture, soil, and debris when not in use to extend the life of your auger drill bit.
