EarthScout TDR Soil Moisture Sensor is a true Time Domain Reflectometer soil moisture sensor that provides highly accurate Volumetric Water Content Measurements in soils and other porous media. It incorporates the same basic TDR components found in console-based TDR instruments costing 20 times more – housed inside the small enclosure that also supports the 15 cm waveguide.
The TDR function is coupled directly to the waveguide, eliminating the coax cable associated with conventional TDR devices. The absence of the coax cable provides the sensor with higher bandwidth waveform data, improving its resolution and sensitivity over conventional TDRs. It is a complete integrated time domain reflectometer that combines ultra-fast waveform generating and digitizing functions with a precision 5 pico-second resolution time base and highly sophisticated waveform digitizing and analyzing firmware that provides true time domain analysis of soil-propagated waveforms. Premium features of EarthScout TDR Soil Moisture Sensor is its fast rise time, its shaped incident wave, its lower power consumption and its very fast response time.

EarthScout warrants the EarthScout-branded product and the EarthScout-branded accessories contained in the original packaging (“EarthScout Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with EarthScout’s published guidelines, and a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). EarthScout’s published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications.
What Is Not Covered By This Warranty?
This Warranty does not apply to any non-EarthScout branded hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with EarthScout hardware. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than EarthScout, may provide their own warranties to you – please contact them for further information. Software distributed by EarthScout with or without the EarthScout brand (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered by this Warranty.
